Before he left us, the Lord Jesus told us to go and teach all nations. Many missionaries have gone into the mission feld
and have spread the Gospel to fulfill the Lord' s command. Although the people they lead to Christ are strong in their faith,
these believers do not profess Christ without having to pay a price. In China, there are hundreds of believers locked
up for their preching of the Gospel. In Africa and the Middle East, Christians are beaten, killed, tortured, and burned alive
for their faith by radical Muslims. In South America, tyrannical governments have taken over countries and are forcing Christians
to recant or pay the price with their lives. Even in America, people are being jdged for their faith, and their actions speak
louder than their words. Although these governments try to force anti- God movements across their lands, the fire of the persecuted
church cannot be extinguished. Jesus Christ cannot be stopped and his Word will never pass away! The scholar Voltaire stated
that by the 1800' s the Bible would be a forgotten book. Well, I guess you could say he was wrong. The Bible is still here,
still alive, and still has the same power that it did in days gone by.
Whether it is at home or abroad, persecution of our brothers and sisters in Christ is very real. We cannot forget
these fellow saints, and we must support them in any way possible. The best way I can tell you how to support the fellow saints
is to logon to: persecution.com this is the website for Voice of the Martyrs. This organization is dedicated to the education
of churches in America about persecution in America and especially in the far corners of the world! Please logon to this website
